Welcome

The car park at Bantham beach has room for over 1,000 cars. The beach is approximately 75m from the car and is an easy walk over the sand dunes. Gate opens at approx. 7.00am and close at 9pm during the summer.

NO OVERNIGHT PARKING 

2025 parking charges

You can come and go throughout the day once you have paid for the car park – ask our gatekeeper for a ticket when you leave! (they will note your registration)

From the 1st of November, our prices are:

  • £5 day
  • £4 afternoon
  • Weekly pass : £35
  • 2 weeks pass : £60
  • £3 for motorbike
  • £11.00 Minibuses and small campervans (all day parking)

Note: Campervans in the style of VW transporter for example are not considered a mobile home and therefore standard rate. No vehicle larger than a small minibus is allowed access to Bantham beach car park. Large motorhomes are not suitable for the narrow lanes on approach to the car park.

Price reduction times throughout the day may vary dependant on the weather.

2026 Season pass

From the 1st of November 2026 annual passes may be purchased before price increase from the 1st of January 2026.

BANTHAM SEASON PASS RULES & TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • This season pass is issued by Bantham Estate Limited, who cannot accept responsibility for loss, theft, injury or damage by fire, theft or any cause whatsoever.
  • The Season Ticket must be stuck onto the windscreen on the passenger side, so it is in clear view for the gate keeper. The gatekeeper will write your registration plate number on the pass first.
  • Gate Keepers will deny access if ticket is not stuck to windscreen.
  • The Season Ticket may not be transferred between cars.
  • The Season Ticket runs from – January 2026 to December 2026
  • Anybody caught transferring between cars will be denied the concession in the future.
  • There will be a £5 admin fee payable at the gate to change the details of a registered vehicle.
  • Please be advised that we will not tolerate verbally abusive behaviour to our staff and reserve the right to refuse to issue, or revoke, season tickets.
  • Overnight camping is not permitted.
  • Spaces are not reserved for season ticket holders and no priority is given. Entry to the car park is subject to space and availability.
  • If you change any of your registered vehicles whilst your Season Ticket is still valid, it is your responsibility to notify us of the change. Failure to do so will result in a standard parking charge for the new vehicle. A £5 admin fee applies to all vehicle changes.

NEW THIS YEAR

  • 50% for 2nd second vehicles – Vehicles taking advantage of the 50 % off a second car must be registered at the same address. Please note if we have reason to believe this is being abused our staff will request to have site of both vehicles V5 certificates. Both vehicles may use the car park at the same time.

Please remember to slow down and acknowledge the gate keeper on entry.

CLOSING TIME

All cars must be removed from the car park at closing time which varies according to daylight hours.

There is a charge of £100.00 to release vehicles after the car park gates have closed (9pm)
