Bantham Vineyard lies on the banks of the River Avon, bathing above Bantham Beach in the South Hams, Devon.
Taking root in English soil, the vineyard was planted in May 2021. Picture this, south‑facing slopes, a bending estuary and 27,000+ vines in the ground. We grow Pinot Noir, Pinot Noir Précoce, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay. Our team work with a neighbouring winery to showcase our little corner of Devon. Rallying an army of relationships, a collaborative hub.
Devonian soils, traditional hedgerows, banks and coastal climate steer the wine’s classic character and earthy storytelling. Handpicked, single-estate wines showing off their maritime terroir with fresh acidity and subtle, savoury salinity. Bantham Vineyard, endeavouring to practice Regenerative Viticulture and sustainable principles, influencing our soil make-up and your taste buds!

We’re Making Waves with Bantham Vineyard Tours and Tastings ‘Vine to Wine’, ‘Soil to Cellar’ experience. We’re, also, debuting a number of soirées with our Boathouse Dining Room and Wine Club experiences, with plenty of frivolities for Bantham Beach Cellar Door (horse box wine bar) and Afterglow by Cellar Socials (amber-lit eves with live musicians). The cherry on top, our Community Harvest to round up the season, poring heart into it.
