Bantham beach is in easy driving distance of Salcombe and Kingsbridge. From the A381 Aveton Gifford to Totnes road, follow the signs to Bantham. From the A379 Churchstow to Aveton Gifford road, take the exit to Bantham at the roundabout.

Parking

The car park at Bantham beach has room for over 1,000 cars. The beach is approximately 75m from the car and is an easy walk over the sand dunes.

2021 parking charges

• Good Friday 2nd April gate opens at 7.30 am -  £6.50.   
• Late afternoon reduced to - £4.00
• Contactless payments only - NO CASH!
• 2021 annual passes may be purchased £120.00 (by card only)

An annual pass runs from January to December 2021                                                                        The pass is for one car only and non transerable.   The pass is to be stuck on the left hand side of windscreen on purchase.

• Minibuses and small campervans are charged £12.50 for all day parking (all year around) campervans in the style of VW transporter for example are not considered a mobile home and therefore standard rate.  No vehicle larger than a small minibus is allowed access to Bantham beach car park.  Large motorhomes are not suitable for the narrow lanes on approach to the car park.
• All cars must be removed from the car park at closing time which varies according to daylight hours.
• Note that prices and times may alter without notice.
• There is a charge of £25.00 to release vehicles after the car park gates have closed.
